SALT & PEPPER TOFU BITES
INGREDIENTS:
400g extra firm Tofu
2 Tbsp Wholemeal Flour -Gluten free swap for corn flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Chilli flakes (optional)
2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for frying)
METHOD:
Cut tofu into squares
In a bowl combine flour, salt, pepper and chilli
Add tofu to dry ingredients and evenly coat
In a hot fry pan, on medium heat, add the oil and tofu
Cook for 5-10 minutes ensuring each side is golden and crispy
Enjoy by itself, or accompanying curries, stir frys, salads, roasted veg etc.
