SALT & PEPPER TOFU BITES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 400g extra firm Tofu

  • 2 Tbsp Wholemeal Flour -Gluten free swap for corn flour

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes (optional)

  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for frying)

METHOD:

  • Cut tofu into squares

  • In a bowl combine flour, salt, pepper and chilli

  • Add tofu to dry ingredients and evenly coat

  • In a hot fry pan, on medium heat, add the oil and tofu

  • Cook for 5-10 minutes ensuring each side is golden and crispy

Enjoy by itself, or accompanying curries, stir frys, salads, roasted veg etc.
