Recipe development

I love cooking and have been cooking since I was a little girl.

As I was vegetarian from a young age, I learnt to alter recipes to fit my ‘meat free’ preferences whilst meeting my nutritional needs. Certain recipes took a few attempts before they were perfected, but now I can go to my pantry and make something delicious from what I have.

I don’t always like to ‘health-ify’ every recipe, as every food has its purpose and its place in a balanced diet.

I believe all food should be delicious, appetising, smell delicious and fit your individual needs.

I have also had cooking classes at university, facilitated by a chef as well as a dietitian; Culinary nutrition was a big part of my degree. I have in the past, volunteered as a kitchen hand/cook.
